Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of the pkrss website and application operated by Pkrss.LIMITED (“we”, “us”), and any purchase of Cloud AI credits. By using pkrss or buying credits, you agree to these Terms.

1. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns in accordance with our Refund policy and Paddle’s buyer terms.

Payment, tax, invoicing, and chargebacks for card purchases are also described in Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms.

2. The service

pkrss is a news RSS reader that runs primarily in your browser (local-first). Optional Cloud AI features (feed discovery, cloud translation, cloud text-to-speech) are provided when you have a valid credit balance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that any particular AI result will meet your needs.

3. Accounts and license keys

Cloud credits are delivered as a digital license key. You must keep the key confidential. Sharing, reselling, or publicly posting keys may result in suspension without refund beyond what Paddle’s policies require.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

use the service for unlawful purposes, fraud, spam, or abuse;
infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
probe, attack, or disrupt our systems or those of our providers;
attempt to bypass credit metering or payment controls.

5. Intellectual property

pkrss software, branding, and related materials are owned by Pkrss.LIMITED (or its licensors). Purchasing credits does not transfer ownership of the software. News content belongs to the respective publishers; we only help you fetch and display public feeds you choose.

6. Prices

Current packs and prices are listed on the Pricing page and must match the Paddle checkout you see at purchase time. Prices may change for future purchases; already-issued credit balances are not reduced by later price changes.

7. Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund policy.

8. Suspension

We may suspend Cloud access for material breach, fraud risk, non-payment, or security abuse. The free local reader features may remain available in your browser copy of the app.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability arising from Cloud purchases is limited to the amount you paid for the credits giving rise to the claim (via Paddle) in the 12 months before the claim.
